建築的手法を通じて映像と物体の共生関係を探求する。大学で建築を学び、設計事務所での勤務を経て情報科学芸術大学院大学を修了。映像を単なる表層として扱うのではなく、物体と共に在る形を模索し、映像とそれを支える構造物のテクトニクス（結構）に着目している。代表作「Bicycle Architecture」では、自転車に建築模型とカメラを載せ、街を走りながら風景を記録する行為を通じて、映像と物体の存在様式を考察している。その実験や制作過程を「Critical Cycling」で連載している。 Explores the symbiotic relationship between image and object through architectural methods. After studying architecture at university and working in a design office, he completed his studies at the Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences. Instead of treating images as mere surfaces, he focuses on the tectonics of images and the structures that support them, and explores forms that exist together with objects. In his representative work Bicycle Architecture, he examines the modes of existence of images and objects through the act of mounting an architectural model and camera on a bicycle and recording the scenery as he rides through the city. His experiments and production process are serialised in Critical Cycling.
